Our Hard materials business consists of three sectors, KH hard alloys, PLASMA HARD (PH) surface modification, and molds. KH hard alloys are our proprietary hard materials manufactured using the powder metallurgy technology developed by the R&D Center of Toyo Kohan Co., Ltd., and they are used for plasticized parts of injection molding machines and wear resistant parts of manufacturing equipment. Surface modification "PH" is a surface modification technology using our own nitriding treatment and various PVD and DLC coatings with clean surface conditions. We contribute to life span extension and quality improvement of various molds and machine parts by imparting various surface characteristics that suit different applications. Our mold sector has the technology to process high-hardness materials with high precision, based on our experience in manufacturing preform molds for PET bottle. We are equipped with state-of-the-art machinery capable of processing super-precision parts.
